What is the He Tryna Ignore It meme?
He Tryna Ignore It shows a white short-haired dog sitting calmly with its eyes shut and its nose slightly raised, while a tall orange flame flares up right beside its face from a fire against a stone wall. Over the lower half of the image a black caption box reads "he tryna ignore it" followed by rows of crying-laughing emojis. The dog looks serene, as if refusing to acknowledge the danger will make it go away, so the meme is about pretending not to notice an obvious problem.
Origin: The dog clip was posted on TikTok in January 2026 and the caption "he tryna ignore it" spread fast. The phrase was also attached to a photo of courtside superfan Jimmy Goldstein watching LeBron James, joking that LeBron was trying to ignore him.
Also known as: Dog Tryna Ignore It, Dog Ignoring Fire, He Trying to Ignore It.
How to use the He Tryna Ignore It meme
There is one box at the top of the image, above the dog's head. The caption already says "he tryna ignore it", so your text should name the fire: the problem, deadline or uncomfortable fact being pointedly ignored.
It lands best when the problem is huge and obvious and the ignoring is a deliberate choice: an overflowing inbox, a production bug on a Friday, the laundry pile, a group chat that has been blowing up for an hour. Short labels of two to six words are enough because the dog's peaceful face carries the joke.
