What is the Guy in the Suit meme?
Guy in the Suit is a vertical GIF of a tall, broad-smiling man showing off a series of sharp suits in a narrow hallway. Each cut swaps his outfit, from a black suit to navy to grey, as he poses, shrugs, sits and crosses his legs like a model in a fitting room. It is pure dressed-up confidence, the reaction for showing up overdressed, feeling yourself, or taking a small occasion far too seriously.
Also known as: Suit Guy Dancing, Man Changing Suits, Guy Showing Off Suits.
How to use the Guy in the Suit meme
Top box: the occasion or the trigger, often "me when...". Bottom box: optional, for a twist about the real situation, or leave it empty so the outfits show.
It fits dress codes, job interviews, first dates, Zoom calls where only your top half is visible, and any time someone puts in way more effort than the event deserves. The outfit changes suggest trying on options, so captions about getting ready work well.
