What is the Push it somewhere else Patrick meme?
Push It Somewhere Else Patrick is a two-panel shot of Patrick Star in front of a worried crowd of Bikini Bottom citizens. In the top panel he stretches his arms out to the side, and in the bottom panel he pushes both hands the other way, miming the act of moving a whole problem somewhere else. His eager, slightly crazed face suggests he thinks this is brilliant. The meme uses the gesture to propose a lazy, short-sighted fix that technically solves nothing, only relocates it.
Origin: The frames are from the 2001 SpongeBob episode "Sandy, SpongeBob, and the Worm". When a giant worm threatens the town, Patrick suggests taking Bikini Bottom and pushing it somewhere else.
Also known as: Pushing Patrick, Why Don't We Take, Patrick Star Push.
How to use the Push it somewhere else Patrick meme
The top box starts the proposal, classically "why don't we take X". The bottom box finishes it, "and push it somewhere else" or "and put it Y". Reading across the two panels completes Patrick's plan.
The best captions describe a fix that only shifts the problem: moving clutter into a closet, renaming a bug a feature, transferring debt to a new card. Keep the grammar of the original line so readers hear Patrick's voice, then make the destination the punchline.
