What is the Homer Sleeping Peacefully meme?
Homer Sleeping Peacefully is a Simpsons still of Homer tucked deep into bed, buried under a huge red blanket with only the top of his head showing between big puffy blue pillows, eyes closed and completely at peace. It is the image of total calm and zero worries, usually because the problem is someone else's, or because he has not found out about it yet.
Also known as: Homer Simpson Sleeping, Sleeping Homer, Homer Asleep in Bed.
How to use the Homer Sleeping Peacefully meme
Top box: the reason you can sleep so well. Bottom box: optional, for the irony that is coming, or leave it empty.
It works for smug peace of mind: having saved the file, having finished the assignment early, or simply not knowing what is about to happen. Pairing it with a problem you are cheerfully unaware of makes it funnier.
