What is the Jason Momoa and Henry Cavill meme?
On a pink carpet, Henry Cavill stands posing for photographers in a sharp navy suit, calm and unaware, while Jason Momoa creeps up behind him in a crouch with a huge mischievous grin. The two actors played Superman and Aquaman in DC's films, which made the sneak attack extra funny to fans. The meme casts Cavill as someone enjoying a peaceful moment and Momoa as the trouble that is about to land on them: a deadline, a hangover, a younger sibling, a sudden plot twist. It is the visual equivalent of "you have no idea what's coming".
Origin: The photo was taken at the London premiere of Suicide Squad in August 2016, when Momoa playfully snuck up on his co-star during the red carpet photocall.
Also known as: Jason Momoa Sneaking Up on Henry Cavill, Momoa Sneaks Up on Cavill, Aquaman Sneaking Up on Superman.
