What is the Lois Griffin Pills meme?
Lois Pills is a Family Guy frame of Lois Griffin sitting calmly at a pink-covered table while an enormous orange prescription bottle with a blank label fills the left side of the shot. The bottle is the size of a person, which makes it look less like medicine and more like an ultimatum. People write some unwanted truth, habit or opinion on the label and treat it as a prescription being forced on someone, usually with Lois or a doctor figure insisting the patient swallow it whether they like it or not.
Also known as: Family Guy Pills, Lois Pill Bottle, Yass Pills.
How to use the Lois Griffin Pills meme
The first box sits on the bottle's blank label: write the hard-to-swallow thing there, kept to a few words so it reads like a drug name. The second box runs across the top over Lois and works as the line delivered to the patient, the classic being some version of "ma'am, you're gonna have to take these".
It suits petty opinions and bitter realities alike: coding style wars, sports takes, chores, family rules. The humor comes from presenting a tiny preference as if it were medically mandatory, so the more trivial the label, the funnier the stern line above it.
