What is the What is this, a Center for Ants?! meme?
What Is This, a Center for Ants?! shows Ben Stiller as Derek Zoolander in a shiny silver suit, standing next to a small architectural model of a modern building and staring at it in outrage. He thinks the model is the actual building and is furious that it is so small. The line he shouts has become the standard reaction to anything that is ridiculously undersized: a tiny restaurant portion, a cramped apartment, a thumbnail-sized image, a phone keyboard. The joke works because Derek is completely sincere; his confusion is the punchline, and the caption borrows that indignant energy.
Origin: The scene is from the 2001 comedy Zoolander. Derek is shown a scale model of the planned charity school bearing his name, meant for children who can't read good, and, mistaking it for the real thing, demands to know how kids will learn if they can't even fit inside.

How to use the What is this, a Center for Ants?! meme
The top box usually holds "what is this" and the bottom finishes the question with "a ___ for ants?!", naming what the tiny thing is supposed to be. You can also put the setup on top (the thing that turned out small) and the full quote on the bottom.
It suits anything that disappointed you by its size: food delivery portions, storage plans, desk space in an open office, a font in a contract. The more ordinary the object, the better the over-the-top outrage plays.
